ARR ISNT HE CUTE....

My fiancee wants an Ovcharka...impressive looking dogs, but no thanks. Too much hair, too much drool. I don't care for the personalities on many of them also.

I need a picture of a wolfhound I work with- I'm 5'5" and in a sit his head comes up to my armpit.-

note that in both pictures (the furry ugly thing and the great dane) the person is sitting/standing BEHIND the dog - as in another plane in the two-deminsional field - the camera will take the picture but the object in front will appear much larger than the object in the rear.  If the persons were in the same field as each other there would be a better idea of how large the dogs really were.

To get an idea from the first picture, look at the womans hand on her knee next to the dogs leg. the dogs leg is right next to the womans hand and leg. The dog has tree stumps connected to thoughs paws.

Its possible that the first picture is super imposed maybe ???.  You all know how easy it is to fix pictures !.  Just a thought.

Here's another pic of the same breed of dog as in the first pic. It' a 1.5yr old female.

and again, the person is BEHIND THE DOG.  The dog looks much bigger when you are comparing it to a person IN THE BACKGROUND.  I'm sure these are huge dogs, but not as big as they appear to be in these pictures with the person behind them.  The girl in the picture has her hand on her knee BEHIND the dogs leg.  It is impossible to tell how far behind - it is not "next to" as the  leg is obviously in front of the girl and she is not touching him.  Pictures can be two-dimensional like that, hard to tell.  In this last picture, if there was another similar dog in front of this one, this one would look more like a husky-sized dog.  Or the guy behind him may be a "little person" LOL

And yes, pictures can be photoshopped.
