I know how to put the copyright ON as a part of the photo and have the HTML code to prevent or disable the right click on the initial website page but IF someone REALLY wants your stuff they will find a way to get it.

What other ways are there to protect your stuff...vidoes? Website? Photos?

If you have the HTML code could you post it here??

I just posted on the other thread. but if someone really wants your picture all they have to do is get a program "screen saver" and there is nothing you can do. I find that water marking my pictures discourages people from taking since you have proof right there on the picture that it is yours. Yes, people can still photo shop if they want it bad enough but 99% will not or can not do it where it looks  professional.

I tried to send the HTML over GSDB but for some reason it would not go throu. I will try again;

just copy and past and replace the "Shame on you" to your kennel name.  I think this looks professional.

Good luck

Yours in the breed

Best way is to watermark your pictures and use a flash player for videos. Copyrighting a website would be hard to achieve as there are thousands that use the same templates or very similar designs.

All people have to do is press "prtscn" (print screen) and then open up photoshop and press ctrl-v, this takes a screenshot of your webpage and then they can just cut out the picture they want, so that is why putting a watermark on the pictures is the best way to go.

By "watermark" do you mean this? Or something different?

Thats nice watcher, what program do you use?

by Watcher on 01 June 2008 - 20:06

Thank you stealth1.

I use photoshop as it is a godsend for fixing photographs and is an excellent tool for designing too.
