kozies german shepherds - Page 1

sorry about that first post, alittle quick on the enter button,

My question is, does anyone know anything about kozies german shepherds?  It's in Mankato Mn.  I have a friend who is considering buying a pup from them.  Any info would be great.

If you look at thier website,  They don't OFA Elbows, and they breed females without OFA certifcation, (Prelims don't count).   I don't see how they can guarantee Elbows if they do not OFA Elbows on thier breeding stock. With that said, it would depend on what your friend is  looking for and how much they are asking.  http://www.koziesshepherds.com/index.htm 

I know of 2 people with dogs from Kozies.  The owner is a nice guy apparently.  Yes he does NOT do elbows and he does not title his dogs.  He works them his own way, but not sure what thay way is.The two people I know (I am in Minnesota) have males, 1 with dysplastic elbows -grade 1, the other with dysplastic hips.  The one male that trains with our club, is a serious working dog with great temperament. There are many better breeders with good dogs out there.  I'd look elsewhere just because of the health issues.
