DesertRangers

I breed my black/Red female to a dark/Gray Sable. All the pups were black sables with Red . I agree with jdh that breeding good pigment to good pigment increases chance pups will have good pigment. All breeding are different and it's a toss of the dice on the first time breeding, after that you should have a good ideal what the breeding match will produce. My current sable keep getting darker for 3-4 years before reaching current color. I have a short video of her at six years of age doing her first bitework...She was brought up trained in trailing and air scenting plus agility(obedience too of course). If interested send me email address.....

i have been working german shepherd dogs and a numerous amount of working dogs for just over fifteen years . i am a true to heart Working Line German Shepherd Lover ability, structure, form and function. For instance here is a beautiful sold black that is super intense an i own three of his direct progeny, a dog by the name of Pike Von Der Schafbachmule/ http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/19532.html incredibly hard throughs super consistent nerve and in my opinion pretty nice confirmation. I consistantly work good and better working line GSD's but in my trainings because most people here in long island have and want show line theres only been a few that could stand up and say they have the HEART. One was a real intense Odin Hirschell Son Another Was Abitch out of ulk Arlett Named Diva Von Der Malchower Aue / http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/91601.html this little bitch brought it to the table. What i am trying to say IMO i agree with DCW. Oh by the way the first Rin Tin Tin was A Sable
