What are these titles, is it the same as Sch1.

A SchHA is just the obedience and proection part of the SchH1 routine. The BH is the obedience and temperament test that a dog has to have before they can get their SchHA or SchH1.

People who haven't prepared their dog for the tracking portion of a SchH 1 might sometimes want to see how they and their dogs will perform as a team come trial day so they do a SchH A. Most people (at least most of the ones I know) don't really consider it a "title" title.
The BH isn't a title either, it's a test you must pass before you can go on to scH A or schH 1. It's very basic obedience, temperment and traffic safety. If you haven't taken it before, then there is a written portion too.

There is no written portion in Belgium that you have to take even if it is your first time doing BH

Written portion? I didn't know that, Sue! What sort of questions do they ask?

by sueincc on 25 May 2008 - 20:05
I already did BH long before they instituted the written portion so I don't have to ever take it but I have heard it's pretty easy stuff. Maybe someone who administers or someone who has taken it can help us out here?

Ive taken it. Its a very simple test. Things like number of footsteps, where the leash goes, etc. There is a sample version of it online if you do a search for "written BH test".
