Does anyone have advice on how to keep blinds from tipping over on a windy day? Something that doesn't include using a hammer and bungee chords and stakes.....

NO... unless you want to build permanent wooden blinds.

we use s hooks around the legs and stake them in using large tent stakes.  the stakes have a large washer welded to the head so they are easy to step on and also easy to remove.

Did you stage that picture, or did he actually chase the helper up the tree?

We were working him with the helper in the tree, this improves the grip as he MUST hold on or fall to the ground!
