Dechsline GSD - Page 1

Hi, I have just been reading a few really negative comments on these breeders and thought I would put my feelings forward.  Last year we got our GSD from the Dechsline breeder who were totally proffesional and obviously care for thier dogs. They showed us round the kennels (which by the way are large enough to house several ponies) and let us see both mum and dad to Dechsline Uschi (Lennox Von Der Juchhe and Bellalissie at Dechsline)

We spent 1 day looking around and asking questions and in return being asked about our house situation with regards to garden size and fencing etc, then having to return once both parties were satisfied with each other, and NO they were not the first breeders we had been in contact with, but they were the first breeders (that had dogs available) to conduct themselves this way.  Had they felt that WE were not suitable then we wouldn't have our girl now.  She has gone on to win 1 third place, 9 2nd places and 6 1st and 2 reserve best puppy in group. Also a trophey for the highest scoring GSD under the age of 2.

So if these negative comments are from failed attempts to purchase from these breeders then they obviously were not the right people for the strong willed, muscular GORGEOUS  dogs that are so well bred by Dechsline.

On the mention of being friendly with a shady charactor I would like to ask who has the right to judge any body purley on the company they may sometimes keep.

Having known Derek & Pauline for many years, I know they are very caring breeders and very hospitable people. I like Derek & Pauline very much, and I know they are thoroughly decent people. (I look forward to receiving another couple of trout)

Agreee totally with everything that has been said on this thread, Derek and Pauline are two of the nicest - MOST GENUINE - people you could wish to meet, they have some terrific dogs, including their 6 German imports. Their pups are reared to the highest standard and could not wish for a better start in life.Hats off to them both !!!

Don't know where you have been reading these negative comments on Derek and Pauline but  I have always found them to be lovely, genuine people who love their dogs and the breed. Wish you well with your Dechsline pup.

         Many thanks for your reassuring and kind words, been off the scene for a while one of the reasons

was Paulines heart attack, she is doing quite well now so sorry you should see my ugly face in the near future, in the mean time best of luck on the show scene and in life.

Also to say Derek sorry to hear about Pauline and pleased to hear she is on the mend now, Cassie has now got a brother in the shape of Ted a black Chow Chow (and piglet come to mention it) and we will keep you updated on Cas' results as and when.
