Okay, I have never done a Foreign AKC Reg. before, and it says in addition to the Import Ped, I need a Certificate of Registration. Is that what this is? (see picture below)

Names and address of importer, and address of breeder have been covered for privacy purposes.

Send that along with the pink paper Karel should have gave you. I sent a copy of everything that Karel sent with a pictures of the puppy and I got my papers back from akc in about 3-4 wks.

Thank you so much for your help Schwarzerfels!!!! I plan on sending a copy of the pink paper, did you send a copy, or the originals? Also, I bought my bitch from an importer, so I got his signature, and all that good stuff. So here's what I have to send the AKC:

Her FCI Import Pedigree (Pink Papers, or a copy of them)

A copy of the paper I posted on here

Am I missing anything???

Thanks!

I think to register your dog AKC you will also have to DNA her.  Not sure when you send that.............

that is all I did. I know the DNa comes when you first breed them.

I have heard that now sometimes they have asked for the original and send it back. I would not do that. Send the copies first and see what happens.

Most of Karel dogs are known by AKC so should  be no problem.

Good Luck

I don't understand why you are making this so difficult and dramatic.  You copy the stuff and send it in  with money.  The AKC in return, cashes your check and sends you recycled paper.  End of story.  No need to stress out over registration.

Because, I don't want them to cash my $55 dollars just to tell me they won't accept my copied Pedigree...

Don, if it irritates you that badly, don't bother responding...

I'm not irritated, yet.  The problem is that I already told you what needs to be done.  You didn't take my word for it and called Josh.  From what you said, he told you the exact same thing I already told you.  Now you are asking the same question on here.  I am not irritated.  I just don't want to see you get too stressed out over a simple process.  The AKC will not take your $55 and make you pay more.  If they have changed their rules and do not accept the copies, you will simply have to mail in the originals.
