Help, me please, is not  this bitch showline or what?  German, yes? I know y'all  like to keep close, but she shows up EVERYWHERE all the time. Just a clue would be helpful. Thank in advance.

 I made a mistake with the other topic, what I meant to ask about was what are the strengths, the positives and any other insights, just curious; I think this dog must have a story!

I will take a shot at this. I am sure there are others who know more about Palme than I do. My understanding is that she is the mother of the Famous Arminius "Q" litter. This was said to be an incredible litter with very good strong serious working ability, not just looks. Additionally, the females in the "Q" litter produced better than themselves.

Overall, she produced some of the most successful dogs of that time, in both work and structure.

She is also the mother of VA1 Uran vom Wildstiegerland and the sister to VA1 Perle vom Wildsteiger Land. She produced very well even better than her siegerin sister. Palme gave us many great dogs through her son Uran and her Q litter. I also think she may have been the reason for so many light colors ie eyes and nails and coats.

She is apparently another great example of the "ugly" sister producing far better than her more glamorous (in this case World Siegerin!) litter mate.   

The Palme Wildsteigerland was bred to several successful studs and produced several successful sons and daugthers. Many judged her as being a bit homely, but I think she looked just fine. Just as with any dog or bitch who is found in a lot of pedigrees she did her share of adding quality as well as detracting from it.

For any modern German show-line GSD it is quite hard to dodge the Palme due to her very successful progeny. In my opinion, her contributions outweighed her detractions.

 Bear is a Uran v Wildsteigerland grandson...Lava v Korbelbach is his dam.  he is OFA GOOD and is a typical Korbelbach boy...carries wood or bowl in mouth 24/7

My Kali has Palme all over her pedigree, through Uran, and 2 of the Q litter boys...linebred, yes; but what a gorgeous result she is...! Wasn't Palme infamously cow-hocked? Not that it matters, her progency have shaped the breed as we know and love it. jh

My Dieter is a V Jada v Steffen-Haus boy and she is the gr daughter of Palme son Quando v Arminius

on the top side of that pair is VA Hoss v Hasenborn who is a gr grandson ofPalme thru Quana v Arminius  her daughter..so many pedigrees have Palme all over them ..

My Rex has Palme as his gr grand dam also thru  Arminius

and now I find her in  my Asta  who is a Vasha v Fleisherscheim and Nax  v Bullinger girl thru  Jeck v Noricum who is a son of Anett  Noricum a Uran Wildersteiger Land daughter.. and on the top side   thru  Quando again....whew

Kanto v Monteforthalle was Uran son and they bred him to Lava v Korbelbach work    so you had old show to work....but those show lines are very well constructed to work....and with good conformation...
