i'm going to do the following linebreeding for my next litter.i'm novice on this part and want to know how does it work in real.thanks in advance....
- 5 - 4............................................. in VA1 Connie vom Farbenspiel
- 5 - 4............................................. in VA1 Ursus von Batu
- 4 - 3............................................. in 2X SGR VA1 Yasko vom Farbenspiel

The data above says that the Connie Farbenspiel is represented once in generation 5 sire's side and generation 4 of the dam's side, along with the Ursus Batu once in generation 5 of the sire's side and generation 4 of the dam's side, and lastly by the Yasko Farbenspiel represented once in generation 4 of the sire's side and generation 3 of the dam's side.
So, what do you have? Progeny with effective linebreeding from two of the most successful BSZS VA-1 sires. Bear in mind that the Yasko is the most successful Ursus son.
But this is less than one-fourth of the equation. Who are the other ancestral dogs and what refinements do they possess?
Regards,
Bob-O

I agree with Bob. These bloodlines are in fact some of the best you can ask for it would be very helpful to know what the name of the dog is that you have which you are breeding and what dog you are going to. These bloodlines are ones I am also very familiar with since they are the lines which I have in my kennel.

I hope your mixing in a little diversity , the breed could use some.
I too have dogs from these lines.

Mindless,
I've got the same thinking in mind that I'd like to do someday, also, but down the road a bit yet due to their age. I produced the female myself & imported/own the male. Very similar to your thinking, but just a little more line-breeding on other individuals.

Why do this? Because it's a nice combination of quality WGR dogs with some workability & drive in them-not mere mellow couch potatoes. Sherry Kirschental was the 2006 & 2007 Herding Dog Sieger in Germany, Urma Quartier Latin is 1/2 brother to 2006 NASS VA1 Bazi von der Urbecke, and I'm still doing competition with the imported grandma on the female's side, Uzit Bullinger. Very impressive in my book. Best wishes with your Ursus-Yasko-Connie line-breeding!
