I found this on youtube:

It's a great piece for anyone looking to study the correct movement of a GSD. I thought I'd share.

Yeah, that's Dingo vom Haus Gero.

by Blitzen on 07 May 2008 - 23:05

Incredible, isn't he? Dingo v Haus Gero I think?

by Louise M. Penery on 08 May 2008 - 00:05

Yes, he was a truly real VA-1 in Germany. He had a great work ethic and excellent nerves. People with WL bitches also bred to Gero for these reasons.

I'm glad he is behind my boys,

WL folks also bred to Dingo's son Dando aus Nordrheinland.

Isn't it refreshing to see a dog with nice, long running gear and with a head that doesn't look like a Rott?

Totally agree with you there, Louise!

by Blitzen on 08 May 2008 - 00:05

You bet it is, Louise.  Hate those rottie heads (unless they are on a rottie)  . I just love the way his topline stays firm. You could sit a glass of water on his withers and not spill a drop.

Thats a nice moving boy.You guys said that he also works well?Thats ALWAYS nice to hear.

by Blitzen on 08 May 2008 - 00:05

Thanks for the information, Louise. My first GSD was  sired by  a Dando grandson. I've often wondered what those dogs were like.
