A friend let me try one month on my female. She had fleas on her three weeks in to the month and I had to bath her and put her back on frontline. I then had to spray the house down. To say the least it did not work for her.

From the 1800petmeds web site: "Sentinel Flavor Tabs are for use in dogs and puppies that weigh at least 2 lbs and are four weeks of age or older. Sentinel Flavor Tabs are used to prevent heartworm disease and to control adult hookworm infections. Sentinel Flavor Tabs are also used to remove and control adult roundworm and whipworm infections. Sentinel Flavor Tablets also contain the insect growth regulator, Lufenuron, which is used to control fleas by preventing the development of flea eggs. The medication does not kill adult fleas."
I used this more as a worm medicine and used Frontline for flea control.

I would never use it...Ive seen some not so nice reports on it..
Frontline Plus for Fleas
Heartguard for Heartworm protection or Interceptor...
Nothing else...no revolution at all...
'I have never had any of my dogs sick or even in a vets office and the oldest is 9 yrs old..the ones that went to Rainbow ridge never were in a vets office except for hip exrays...I use only certain products..only...
I use Adams water based flea spray for those days we go to lake or on trips ....just to make sure a stray invasion doesnt happen.......water base only.

I've worked as a Vet Tech for over 5 years and have never seen a dog that's got sick from it. Since it's only a growth inhibitor for fleas (does nothing for adult fleas) and the cost is so much more.....I personally use Intercepter that is also made by the same company.....takes care of everything that Sentinel does except nothing for fleas....then I would use Frontline Plus for fleas.
Have you heard of Advantage Multi?? It's a topical and protects against Heartworm, Flea, Roundworms, Whipworms and Hookworms...and actually it deworms your dog every day for the whole month....all the other products just deworm that day you give the pill and then the dog is able to be infected again. And it's actually safe for Heartworm Positive dogs.....where Sentinel and Interceptor can kill a dog if he is positive.......for those people that skip months or don't test like they should.

Sentinel will not kill adult fleas. It's program and Interceptor combined. Basically it acts as flea birth control. So, if they is an infestation it works great, but needs to be used with Frontline/Advantix for adult fleas that the dog might pick up. Right now my guys are on Sentinel, only because as a vet tech we got a years supply for free! LOL We were told by the manufacturer to give it with food, to have the full affect and both the Program and the Interceptor. These days, in our area we almost have to use the Frontline year round too, with the somewhat milder winters where we are seeing ticks in January with snow on the ground at times.

Rezkat....you have to love those free supplies!!! I alternate between all of them because I have SOOOO much. I'm just not a fan of Revoluation for dogs.
Sure is nice....because it really ads up when you have several big dogs! Have you tried the Advantage Multi yet?? The Bayer rep gave us all a 1 supply for 3 dogs and sat through the presentation.

Free stuff is always a good thing! It's always nice, when they just ask you to list how many you have. LOL Plus we always say, sure we'll listen to you, if you buy us lunch and give the employees supplies. :)
We don't sell the advantage multi just yet, but do sell the Advantix/Frontline. Ticks are so bad in our area that a lot of the dogs are needing tick collars as well.
Come to think of it, we are due for some sort of free topical flea/tick med!
