I have 4 indoor/outdoor runs that are 4 feet wide and 18 feet long on the outside and 4x4 on the inside. Also, I have 4 runs that are under a roof but no indoor area--they are 5 x 15, with dog houses in them--so they are a bit small. I tend to use them for puppies or short-term boarders.
The indoor-outdoor runs are great. In a perfect world, I'd have them be 5 or 6 feet wide--my big male will sometimes rub the fur off the tip of his tail if he's really active in the kennel run.
I'm looking at adding a few outdoor-only runs, with doghouses, for summertime or when I need a few extra dogs here. I was wondering what flooring surface to use. What fencing/kennel panels do you guys find works best? What size--assuming space is no problem, although being cost-effective is important.
Here's a pics of my kennels right now:

I'm interested too in what most people recommend for flooring. I recently got some kennel runs but haven't put them up yet as I haven't decided what to use for the flooring.

I was also curious what people liked for their kennel wiring/panels. I have 9 gauge on the outside runs, the heavy duty Behlin runs on the 5x15 outdoor runs.
I've found that the 11 gauge wire is just about useless--my dogs go through it whenever they want.
