Hello,
I was wondering if anyone on this forum knows of someone that does puppy tattooing in the State of Oklahoma near Elk City. I believe that is somewhat close to Oklahoma City? If so please email their email address or phone number. I need to find out where they are located and how much they charge to tattoo some pups? This is for a friend and I don't know anyone in Oklahoma.
Thank you in advance,
Debbie

I know that Oklahoma City is a bit away from Tulsa, but you might contact the Midwest KG treasurer Mike Rickman at telephone 918/288.6565. The DVG group meets frequently in Tulsa and they are great group of guys and gals. They will have at least one (1) member who can help you.

We flew a tattoo'er (sp??) in from California to do our last litter this past month as most "official" tattoo'ers live at least four to six hours away and she also gave training to our pending tattoo'er for our forming USA Club . Beautiful tattoos I might add - she took part in the development of the original USA tattoo program. Are you looking for a USA tattoo'er?
Bob-O, as a member of the Tulsa DVG club, I'm not aware of any tattoo'ers in the club... if there was one, I'd just with all the trouble iI've gone through in the past to get it done!

Karla, thank you for that information. When I was in NW Arkansas I knew some of the guys and thought they surely had a tattoo person. I did meet a lady who did tattoos for the Midwest KG, but that was at least three (3) years ago and people move on, as we say. I always did my own as I did not insist on official tattoos.
Best Regards,

As the owner of a tattoo kit, I'm not willing to experiment! I can hold and I can ink, but the crimping - YIKES! I've lined up a goat farmer (he tattoo'd his goats) and my vet (to train) in the past for back up but fortunately luck prevailed. The tattoo'er from Ca. told me there used to be tattooing seminars but I've not heard of any near me.
Debbie - you could try Laurie at http://dornburg.schaferhund.com/

Bob-O, I spend a bit of time in Gentry - love the area...
