After thinking about it for 15 years, I am finally going to get a SchH titled adult female. I am going to move to a house with a near half-acre lot.
I think I with stick with the "West German" type. I know nothing about the "DDR", "Czech" types.
I am NOT current on the more recent SV developments.
I know that things I should be looking at are:
SchH title and scores.
V, SG rating etc
KKL1--recommended for breeding
Pink paper--Is it true that the pink paper is given to individual puppy/dog, not the litter or the parents. ie every puppy of both parents recommended for breeding should have pink paper for itself? Is this based on both parents having the KKL1 stamp?
hips "a" --Is there now several categories of normal hips, similar to OFA "excellent", "Good", "Fair"? I know of "Fast normal" being nearly normal.
Is indication of normal elbow to be expected now? What is the wording for normal elbow?
Is the Koer report a "breed survey" report? Even dog inspected by a SV judge should have one?
Why are there separate showline and working line among West German type? Does every showline dog shown also have a working title.
Thanks
Any English site that I can read?

When a litter is whelped from parents who are titled to at least SchH1, have a KK1 or KK2, have hips & elbows certified, and also possess a show rating, then all the puppies in that litter can receive pink papers.

"a" normal (a1)
"a" fast normal (a2) -- almost normal
"a" noch zugelassen (a3) -- still passing

Same ratings apply to elbows as to hips. Elbows are required now!

When a dog passes a breed survey and receives a KK1 or KK2 rating, he will get a Kor report that describes the dog's physical characteristics. The Koer report is written down in what is called the Koerschein.

Why? Good question. It would be a much simpler world if there were not seperate lines. But yes every show line dog must have a working title (SchH) in order to be Korklassed. Similarly, every working line dog must have a show rating.

One addition: the working title can also be a HGH (SV herding title) for the breed survey.
