They should post the membership number, but being the admin of the site, I have ways to verify who they are to actually contact them to obtain the information, and validate the casting of the signature to the petition. Do NOT worry, we have it covered.

Don't forget to stand up and speak your mind! put your name to the petition! Lot's of good comments on the petition site too!

Some I liked, in person, some not so much. Slinking is the least of my worries. LOL

Personally, I am appalled when I see slinking--especially, when I have seen a video of the same damned dog earlier in its career without slinking. No, the excuse that it's just the "dog's style" doesn't hold water. To me, slinking indicates that there has been too much "cranking" on the dog--too much pressure--certainly, conflict and lack of drive-containment.

Shelley,

I noticed your name isn't on the petition. Do you think the rules were followed for the performance test?

I commented earlier. One thing I know for sure: I wouldn't want to be in the judge's shoes for any Sieger Show protection test. The good news is I never will be!

If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem,

I wouldn't mind going to the German Sieger Show one day. I heard they make the best Hot Dogs.

Randy.. congrats.. you know i always got a kick out of ronaldo..   training  with you to that sunday many moons ago was just    another time when you just were there to help out . I have to say i am pretty amazed at the snipeing i am reading on here. from folks i have chatted with or read about.. it as a novice..   surprsie me.. it is probably too much to ask that it be less venemous. i love reading and learning on here.. I dont understand  why folks  are bashing you for taking ronaldo to a better handler.. i would not learn all that i have without butch ( and i know i need to learn a ton more) .. the comment about money buying ...i find unfair. i remember something jessy once said to me that rob felt a lot of good dogs  ot there .. not many good handlers.. .. but if folks work full-time and do spend as much quality time as they can.. but surely not enough to compete at the world class level.. isnt it a more level playing field to seek out one that is "full-time" ,, ? maybe i am missing the point. won't be the 1st time.. but i know if the dog i now have keeps showing the potential he has it would be a shame for the dog's sake not to put him in more capable hands.. I would not for  money.. but  for love of the dog ..if i  felt he had world class ability ...i would let donna/jessy/butch train him... is that wrong ? what  does the title mean.. seems different to a lot.. is it a hot  contest.. or a measure of the dog.. dont i get an advantage because i have the advantage of a job that allows me the "free time to train" what chance ( no pun intended(my dog's name)) would a complete novice have.. or just simply why not give a great dog the best chance of winning.. does it make the true dog competition too difficult.. ?

I happen to know Ronaldo is doing very well in training at Doggy Boot Camp. High praise from a hard-core working dog person like myself.

Speaking of training, I'm glad so many people have time to fight it out here. I do not. Failing injury, dangerous weather conditions or illness, you won't be seeing much of me here for quite awhile, althoug any one is welcome to come out to the training fields to keep those of us who are busy training dogs company.  Bring your lunch. In fact, bring me some too! I'm fond of grilled ham & swiss on sourdough, with tomatoes, mayo and no lettuce.

Sunshine, 75F and rising. Lunch over. T-storms tomorrow. I'm out'a here.
