Sasha is a beautiful petite (44 pounds) one year old, spayed, pure bred german shepherd, I have evauated her and have found the following.
environmentally sound
good with other dogs and cats
VERY good ball and food drive
very loving.
She will walk over chain line, wobbly surfaces etc. Nothing bothers this gal. She is treadmilled daily to assist in keeping her energy level setteled.
I evaluated her for search and rescue, unfortunatley, her hips are not good enough for our uses. she is not lame
She is living at the NYC ASPCA waiting. She has been returned twice due to her energy level. She needs an active home , perhaps agility. She is not one to sit in the back yard. She must have an active life style. Anyone interested please contact me privately and i will give you the contact info. with the behaviorist I have been working with at the ASPCA.
PLEASE GIVE THIS GAL A CHANCE> SHE IS A LOVER

Good luck to you Sarah in finding Sasha a home. I will keep my ears open for somebody looking for a Sasha based on your evaluation.

Try calling customs - they do take rescues and cast offs. They look for high ball drive and energy. The only downside is their dogs are kenneled and only out for their 8 hour working shift but if the choice is that or no home at least she would have work that she'd like and get rewarded for.
