I have a couple of Slovakian pedigrees with stamps next to   Peciatka veterinarneho Iekara (RTG BDK) - one stamp has a C on it and another an X in the top left corner   and   RTG nalez - one stamp is A and the other is B   I imagine they are something to do with hips and elbows, but does anyone know what they mean please?   Margaret N-J

I have a question along the lines of hip ratings from overseas....

How can you locate the hip rating information on an imported dog into the USA?

Hey K9SAR, if the dog is from Germany, the hip and elbow ratings of the dog and his littermates in Germany, and Germany ancestors will be on the SV genetics disk.  You can look it up on the SV website also, but the SV genetics disk is more helpful.

k9sar06,

If the dog was x-rayed officially either in Slovakia or Czech, the rating is stamped on their pedigree.
