Can anyone tell what actual numbers/figures/ranges determine the Swedish H/D gradings of 'A' to 'E'?
by Pjulle on 07 November 2004 - 13:11
Well, in most of the european countries we use the A-E gradings...
A equals 'a' normal = normal hips
B = 'a' fast normal = almost normal hips
C = 'a' noch zugelassen(Leichte HD) HD+
= still permissible hips
D = (Mittlere HD) HD ++
E = (Schwere HD) HD +++
If you wat to see more, check the danish Kennel Klub page out. Here you will find the terms in alot of "languages"

I think that most European countries use:
"a" normal, "a" fast normal and "a" noch zugelassen, which now is called:
a1
a2 and
a3 (HD+)
a4 HD ++
a5 HD +++
In Spain we do not use A to E either.

I am sorry, if a dog is in Germany and obtained the "a" (no matter which one of the three first ones) in another country, it is called:
a6
Best regards.

Marion, correctme if im wrong: You say that most european countries do NOT use the A - E terms? Okey, that might be, but no matter what the danish page gives useful translations for a lot of countries.
