I just learned that I can get this line from a local distributor.  Just wondering if their are any breeders who food this food.  Please share any positive negative feed about the food--including availability, pricing, etc.

Thanks!

I have fed this for 5 plus years to more than 30 GSDs at one time and feed a variety of Royal Canin to all boarders. It is an excellent food for most dogs. The drawback is, like all other decent foods, it is becoming really, really expensive to feed. In the last year alone we have had 4 price increases and since I began feeding this food, a bag now costs more than $4 more than it was originally, even with my distributor cost. I have considered switching to the Maxi Large Breed which I have been feeding this week due to a delay in shipment. It is much cheaper by the bag and the dogs are doing well with it too.

Recently they have also changed weights in some varieties, or in bag design, and that has resulted in delays in shipment. For example, I was unable to get 30 bags of Maxi GSD24 (same formulation as the pro line) and 20 plus bags of the Maxi Light (that I use with overweight dogs and dogs who have pancreas problems) for almost 4 weeks. I am supposed to get a delivery tomorrow. I have checked into other foods that I would consider using, but they are no cheaper. So I will likely stick with RC foods.
