Which line has the stronger back, am lines or ger. lines?

Almost all AM. lines have straight backs vs. the Ger. lines, "hunched backs,"  I know I am about to get drilled here by some Ger. lines people.  I am not trying to start an argument but just curious about everyones opinions on which line has the stronger backs.  I have heard Am. lines breeders say he has a strong iron back.  What makes a back strong?

In my opinion the two lines have totally different backs.  Am. has a higher wither and straight goingt down to the croup and the Ger. lines are not straight backed as the Am. lines but look stronger and tougher.

I am only trying to get opinions.  I am not trying to start any type of argument with anyone.  I don't call my self an expert on this topic but, I would love some expert opinions.

Cheers

My opinion,

depends on the individual dog.  not the lines.  I have seen soft back out of all lines, roached backs out of all lines,  and correct backs out of all lines.

"Iron back" is typically a phrase american breeders use to describe a correct back.  nice and level during movement,  doesn't sag or sway. because of language barriers,  you will have americans using different words that mean close to  the same thing as words a german people may use.
