Just thought I'd share, seems to be the rage these days to share news stories.
Woman bites dog to save her pet. http://www.14wfie.com/global/story.asp?s=8114014
Ya never know when you'll have to get down and dirty in a fight.

Aye! it be a fine article,Two Moons me bucko. Thar still be some questions me need answered, before me decide on t Wench Aye. It sounds like t' wench has excellent fight drive, but did she have full grips? aye Me also need be knowin, did t' wench shake out her hold?aye Another thin,,,, me needs t' know, was t' wench whinin, growlin, or vocal, while she was in hold? aye ...On a scale of 1 t' 10, judging t' wench's bite pressure, would ye say t' wench couldn't bust a grape? or would ye say she was a bone crusher? aye These be thins me need to be knowin before me can make a true assessment on t' Wench AYE!

Aye! me forgot t' ask another important question....did t' Wench, "Amy Rice" Out on command? or did they need to take her off with a Parting Stick? Aye

Aye! Capt.,
All good questions. I know the bitch had a strong bite as the poor pit has a broken nose, and no she didn't out! They where forced to use the breaking stick twice. The pits lawyers are filing charge's and hope to bring suit for damage's to the dogs reputation and standing in the community plus pain and suffering. The dog is to undergo facial reconstruction as soon as the swelling goes down. Needless to say the lab was humiliated and has not been seen in public since the incident.
The wench is in quarantine till rabies can be rules out.
Aye..............:)

just curious, What would you have done if it was your dog? Say you were out walking your lab, gsd, poodle or whatever, and you had nothing on you for protection. Would you do whatever you could to save your pet? I'm sure she didnt have to think about it for a second, she was very brave and has alot more intestinal fortitude than most people. Just my opinion,

This woman is undoubtedly a hero. I'd bet she'd be a poor candidate for mugging or assault. This gals got real fight drive.

eddyhdy very well put. I agree. I would have done anything to save my dogs if it came down to that I would have done that too!

eddy,
I totally agree with you. I don't know that I would have gotten that close to the pitts face, but who knows in that situation.
