Hello All out there,
I know that for the Breed survey in Germany is now into effect (as of 1.1.2008) that dogs born after 1.1.2004 MUST also have a grading of Elbow dysplasia of a1, a2 or a3.
Despite the fact that dogs (born before 1.1.2004) with no elbow grading are still eligible for participation (and thus possibly breed surveyed as Kk1 not to mention the studs they will make), I consider it to be a very good regulation.
Could you all please send your feedback on how the WUSV in your country deals with it? What I mean is:
When a Breed survey takes place in another country under the WUSV regulations, must the dogs born after 1.1.2004 have elbow dysplasia grading for participating in the breed survey process? Moreover, does the Kennel Club of that country have an official procedure for grading elbows and is this procedure recognised by the SV?
All entries are welcome...
Thank you.
