my dogs spend alot of time in their crates with fans blowing on then (electric not battery) while training or on a search

I am looking for a source for heat reflective tarps for the top of my van. I know these tarps are utilized by green houses. Can anyone recommend a store that is somewhat reasonable in price where i can get one?

Any sporting goods store has mylar emergency blankets that can be bonded to the extruded plastic equivalent of cardboard (the stuff that political signboards are made from-sorry, the trade name escapes me), and easily molded to fit the contours of your vehicle. Also, your vehicle should be white or light silver to start with, and if it not, trade it in or get a quick paint job at Earl  Schieb if you cannot afford to upgrade. Earl does a crappy job, but the paint generally outlasts the vehicle.

cabelas' and The Tractor Supply Store have this item. Tractor Supply has them larger than cabelas does.

This is the tarp I use http://www.cleanrun.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=product.display&Product_ID=564&ParentCat=254. I really like it because the air can still flow through. It really helps keep the dogs cool!!!!!

Kristen, thanks for posting that link.  I've been looking for those myself.  I'm glad you chimed in.  Odd that you don't see more SchH gear vendors carrying those.  Thanks!
