Max the Rescue Dog - Page 1

Molly has done a super job with Max. Clearly his three months of good care and attention on the farm has done him a WORLD of good! His personality has really come out!

He is now available to an experienced handler who will give him a good "forever home." He has been neutered and is in excellent health.

Max is a really great dog.  He's BIG (105 lbs), handsome and healthy - has a really great temperament once he gets to know you (and it only takes him a few minutes and a treat or two to get to know you) - he's forgotten all of his mistrust of people, shows no more serious aggression through the fence like he used to.  He has no dog aggression and is very clean in his kennel (ie probably housebroken).   I think he would be just wonderful for a single person or couple who want a companion who would also be a very good deterent - noone would open a gate or door with this dog inside.  He also loves to ride in the car, he would make someone an excellent companion and best friend.  I hope to find him the perfect home soon as he really needs someone to call his own, and needs to live in the house and not the kennel any longer than necessary.  He is neutered and has all of his shots courtesy of the local rescue organization I volunteer with, so he does have a reasonable adoption fee through them.

Wow what a difference a little TLC can make.  He looks like he would be a great boy for someone.  I hope he finds one.  Thanks to you guys for saving him.

Oh great! I never read that Molly picked that dog up. I remember the thread and everyone scrambling to save him especially Shelley. I'm so glad he got his second chance and is doing well. He looks like a handsome dog. Good luck Max, finding a forever home. I'ma sucker for Bi-colors too.

I can hardly believe the difference in Max. He's turned into a born-agin schmoozer-hund. His coat is now so shiney he positively glows and his ears are all better.

Max looks like he might be the daddy of our little Nicole (we rescued her off of CraigsList). Good job, people!

OMG Molly that is a big boy!  He looks really beautiful!   I just watched the video and I am glad I did not see the before version.
