I saw mention on this site once in regards to Turkey, stating is was not suitable for canines but can't find anything on it any longer (here).
Can anyone give facts as to why it's not suitable or links towards facts on feeding some Turkey (cooked). Meanwhile I'll be surfing the net looking.
Thank You,
TRU

Feeding lean turkey meat, in reasonable amounts is not an issue. Giving some dogs the skin and fat can make them ill with pancreatitis. So I would stay away from feeding the fat and skin.

Raw turkey necks are one of the staple items in a raw diet.

Turkey is a common protein source for dog food. Whereas it's possible that any individual dog might have an allergic response to this protein source, it's not going to make the "top 10" list of common allergens.
