Recently, there was a post as to what tatoo numbers can tell you about your dog. It can identify what part of the country the dog was born in, what year, and even what kennel!
I'm just curious to know if any useful information can be gleaned from AKC registration numbers?

Hi Sunsilver,
To my knowledge, the AKC numbers are simply record keeping in numerical order for AKC but I know the last two numbers are the number the pup was born within the litter (or it should be if the breeder kept good records).
But, there could be more to it than than, I am not sure,
