I received this from a friend in PA a little while ago and thought I'd post it to see if anyone in OH can help.
I have absolutely no futher knowledge on this dog. Don't have a clue what happened.

Trumbull County has asked me to urgently find safe rescue/sanctuary for this beautiful and sweet dog. JIM has just completed a 10 day BITE HOLD, after which he was to be destroyed. But he is such a fabulous dog, the judge has just let us know that I will be allowed to get him into rescue, as long as it is well OUT OF THIS AREA. The previous owners were incompetent to own ANY dog, much less a GSD. Jim is 5 years old, 84 lbs. He is handled and walked every day by the pound staff.
The pound is very full currently, and it is a kill pound. Everyone there loves this dog, and if he cannot find rescue/sanctuary, I have been asked to take him to the vet to be euthanised, as no one at the pound can stomach the thought. PLEASE, if one of you can help me save him, let me know asap. Thank you all so much!!! Marty Conklin

Any pictures??? What were the circumstances concerning the bite(s)?
