Hello

Iam 151/2 and I have aussies My mom breeds and trains german shepherds. I came to this site to learn about dogs and training but from what I have read you guys are not nice putting other people down for what they do. My mom trains her puppies to work with disabled people and donates alot of her puppies for free. She knows alot of other people with kennels and they get along and work together!!!!! Even when they dont agree they still support each other.

since kids can get on this site maybe you adults should try to be better role models instead of putting people down and getting so mad at each other!!!!!

I read about the dogs who do shutz sport and show do any of you help any one else like my mom does or do you just show off your dogs? maybe you should think how you can help people instead of hurting them.

Welcome to the fire. I try to keep my language fairly civil. Just ignore those who don't. when a thread gets too nasty, I usually just hit the  BACK button and look for another, more interesting thread. You might try GSDWorld's message board, too. Lots of Aussie's on that board, very civilized, and a separate forum  for "Topics" relevant to  down under. :-D

bris,

Yes, sometimes it gets out of hand on here. Everyone, including myself, is to blame for some part or another. Sometimes we fall down the wrong path.

BUT, on another note. There are so many nice people on here willing to educate people on training, breeding, and etc. If you ignore the nasty parts and wrote down all the information that these people have into a book, you would be a rich person.

Welcome!  It's a hard place around here sometimes, but try to ignore the bad stuff and read the good stuff, and hopefully the moderators will keep the site pretty cleaned up as they have been.  ;)

Is that you in the photo?  If so, it looks like you're enjoying time spent with your dogs, and that at least one of them is happy to work with you.  :)  Good job!

I hope your post reminds people that not just adults visit this site, and to watch their language and content.

Again, welcome, and always feel free to ask any questions you may have, either as a post or a private message.

Greetings Bris,

Nice dogs, I hope you do find some useful information.   Yeah things get strange to understand on the internet, I hope your adult enough to understand the nature of being online with mostly adults from all over the world.   There is bad and good in all man.   You'll be exposed to this and you and your mum should know the realities of what its all about online.

Its not as bad as surfing chatrooms, maybe you know what I mean.

I wish you the best and hope you benifit from the database, anything you see that you dont like just back out of it and look at something else.

Brent.

Excellent Bris,

Hi mum..:)

I had quite a few chat friends there at one time, Kiwi's too.

Do you train your GSD's to herd also?

Brent.
