Ad posted recently under "Purebreed Beauty"......unbelievable! What is wrong with this picture? And the people? I wonder why someone should buy him as a pet when they have used this unregistered dog for stud. Now they want to dump him....nice people (NOT) and want NOW to "better the breed". Give me a break. Makes me ill.

Beautiful; large bone; black/red intact male.
Excellent family dog who will alert and protect his family.
Good with children, other dogs, cats and many other animals
3 years old
Not registered but he is 100% german shepherd
He is still intact and he has sired a few litters with beautiful results
Would love to see him as someone's loving pet
We are retiring him from our breeding as we wish to better the breed and use registered titled dogs.
He is an excellent family dog; if you wish to use him to breed that is ok with us as he does have beautiful babies
House trained, crate trained {does not require a crate at all}
Serious Inquires only please
Good Home Only

I wonder what the price is.  And if it could be registered seeing that its 100% GSD.

Everyone has a program these days.   Me too...lol

Hey it might be a really nice dog.

Oh well.

Are you suggesting it is bad for someone to want to better themselves?

You breed long coats and breed out of standard so how are you any better?

I do not understand people who claim to love the breed yet attack anyone who is trying to do things right or trying to be better!

You do not know anything about this dog or the owners but best to attack them because they may better themselves and I guess it is better to keep as many people new to the breed as possible doing things wrong so that you can keep attacking them.

Since you are so perfect why not add positive education to the board rather then trolling the ads and only posting negativity?

It's great you are trying to do better and find him a home.  If you truely want to better the breed, have him neutered first, don't suggest others use him to breed too.

by germanshepherdlover on 17 March 2008 - 20:03

So this dog should not be advertised as a pet?

Should I advertise him as stud then to make you happy?

He is a nice dog and if it were not for number restrictions in our township he would be neutered and kept as a pet.   We will keep him as long as necessary and if a good home is not found we continue to use him as stud since it is clear that is what you feel should happen.

I mean it is so evil for us to want to better the breed!

I think this dog is Yukon Dreamin Alaska, he's in the database. I could be wrong..............

by germanshepherdlover on 17 March 2008 - 20:03

Have deleted the ad thank you

I will advertise elsewhere since this place approves of things I have learned are not so good!

by hodie on 17 March 2008 - 20:03

Oh good.....maybe someone will get a clue, but I doubt it. As for my breeding, I rarely breed and the longcoat on my site was imported with a sibling as a pup. But I don't breed dogs without registration and then want to dump them for the "bettering" of the breed. You don't even know what that phrase might mean.
