Man oh man, as if we weren't having enough controversy over long coat GSD's, now we've got these wahoo's on the internet promoting wire-coat GSD's.  Ridiculous!  Look at that coarse, wiry coat!  Rain and snow will go right through that!

******

For the GSD lover who has everything.... a GSD shaped topiary wire frame.  Wow!  Talk about "growing your own".  LOL.  At least now I know what to buy my dog friends for Christmas.

Yes, this is for real.  There really is a web site selling dozens of dog breeds in topiary form.  God bless the Internet!

Can I borrow your pliers? I would love one too but just spent 200.00 on flea and heartworm meds. LOL!

This is too funny.  I have been lurking these boards for years, mostly just because I love Shepherds. Here I am sitting on my lunch hour at work and find this.  I actually work for the manufacturer of these topiary dogs.  The Shepherd is actually based on our now deceased beautiful sable GSD Zauber vom Rosenhof.  He was the most fantastic companion. (not titled or anything just a great dog)   I never thought he would be a topic of one of the threads here on this forum, even if it is just his wire form. :)

Cheers

At one club i went too, over here i saw a wire haired G.s. it looked like ripples across its back, The Old Guy who owned it was training it but never did protection with it, i thinkhe kept it as a house pet mostly. but in different hands it may well have been okay in protection the same as other G.gs, I cannot see how its coat would stop it performing, However i was not struck on its coat

All It needs is some Christmas Lights! Then mount it to the chimney in Dec. LOL
