Any suggestion on a reasonably priced aluminum crate? Any sources? I can't afford a custom crates one at the moment

Owens makes a nice aluminum crate. This one fits the GSD well. Various stores carry them.

I use an Owens crate for my GSD's. They are well made and a quality crate. They come in all sizes.

Kalispel crates are really nice. I am using two of their slant fronts in my SUV... they are very solidly built and have a nice finish. They come in different sizes XL / L / M as well as Regular, Slant Front, and Collapsable. Plus for the price you can't find better out there!
