Those pups look great Pia.  I bred a nice bitch to him too, but didn't get lucky like you.  Congradulations, I am sure they will go far and be outstanding dogs.

I have to say this dog is just as awesome in his character and personality as he is in his looks.  I have more photos but they have my little daughter and son in them and I dont post those on the internet.  Iron has just learned what it is like to swim in the River.  He loves it!  He will chase a ball, stick, rock, or even the little bubbles that sometimes come up. I will try and get some more this weekend.  I do have to give All of my thanks to Pia.  This is one outstanding litter.  She is just as top notch as this litter is.  Thanks again for giving me the chance to own this wonderful dog.  I feel very fortunate to be able to have a son of Asko.  When I first got Iron I was not even looking for another dog, but I kept telling myself this could be a once in a lifetime opportunity to get one and raise it from a pup (an Asko son) so after talking on the phone with Pia a few times I knew in my heart this was the right decision.  I do not regret it at all!  He has been a member of the family since the moment we picked him up from the Airport.

HI Shawn

Glad you enjoying your boy !! he sure looks great !! So glad at least one of the Asko son's will be titled  !! So perhaps in a few years I be knocking on your door with a girl in tow  LOL

Ink is also super motivated and anything that moves is in her mouth . She will need to learn how to swim when the weather in New England is a bit warmer :)) I tied he on a back tie the other day and teased her a bit with the rag WOW  was she intense !!! So I leave that now  to my  helper  .  Saw her litter brother Itos the other day   he looks great too  ,he was sold to a family here in the neighborhood .

Veronika  your female must  the one I heard about  being bred to Asko also , sorry that she did not take :(

Well Shelly it actually started with me searching for a Asko daughter couble of years ago  but no good ones to be sold .I just retired my Asko daughter Mandy last year and really wanted another good one .So I talked to my partner in germany to breed his very good female Flower  to Asko and let me have the pick female . Nice to have good friends :) So we planned the breeding and he took the bitch to Asko as a favor to me . Werner was nice enough to cover the female a second time and once pregnancy was confirmed I got my  surprise .......to let  me  do the litter and pick my own girl :))

It was brought up before that Asko Lutter progeny are slow-maturing. Have you guys experienced this, personally? My Asko grandson is still very playful at almost 8 months of age.

Yeah, my Asko grandson is slow maturing too, but I kind of like it that way - it gave me an excuse to strrreeeeeeeeeeetch out his puppyhood!
