Anyone know of some really nice top showline males that are located in the US??  At least V-rated and SchH3 titled. And studs that known to WORK and producing nicely. Trying to see what is all out there, and links to the owner's contact info or websites would be appreciated.  I will be attending my first show in a couple of months so hoping to run into some nice ones there, but would appreciate the help....doing my research =)

Thanks

It all depends where you live?

Here ion the East Coast, we have VA-Liedo vom Kuckucksland, VA-Teejay von Wilhendorf, VA-Hoss vom Hirmer Teich, VA-Nick vom Altpoertel, VA-Ronaldo vom Zellergrund, V-Kimon vom Tuerkenkopf, and of course, my husband's special dog V-Ronaldo von Arlett. The last two dogs are the only sable showline studs in this country (to the best of my knowledge).

There should be a whole load of nice show males in the area!

Another nice dog on the east coast is my own V rated Gildewangens Jaz Victor.  He has placed well ahead of some of the dogs mentioned above in Germany, and has never falied a protection test.  You might also want to compare the SchH scores.  Jaz's SchH III scores were. 90,94,97.  Also he is also one of the few LG Siegers to reside in the United States.

You could also check the Mittlewest website, and I know of a number of great dogs on the west coast as well.  Feel free to send a message for further information if you so choose.

Respectfully,

Carl Morgan

Oops, sorry Carl! I keep forgetting about your dog Jaz! It was unintentional. My sincerest apologies.

WOW...Thank you.  I REALLY like Rolando and Jaz.  Rolando is without a doubt the most gorgeous sable showline male I've ever seen...and what a neat, awesome pedigree!  And Jaz puts many of the dogs mentioned to shame! He's absolutely gorgeous and love his color and head.

Chris - Do you own Rolando?

I am located in Indiana.  Thank you for the suggestions on nice dogs and keep them coming, but those two boys are by far my favorites.

Good old NY state has a couple of VA dogs.  Two are located in the same kennel on Long Island near Kennedy Airport.

The WDA 2004 VA9 dog Zamp v Steilen Ufer, who was twice V rated at the German Sieger Show, V48 in 2003 and V73 in 2004.  The amazing thing about Zamp is that he was shown last year in Canada at the age of 7 and became a Canadian Champion as well!  The people showing him decided they wanted to have his elbows certified and they were certified at the age of 7!

In 2005, the same kennel imported  WDA 2005 VA4 Bax v Premutia.  Bax came in fresh from a V11 ranking at the Austrian Sieger Show in August, a V41 ranking at the German Sieger show in Germany and then topped off with the VA ranking in Pittsburgh!  More importantly, Bax came here from Germany with a ZW hip rating of 77.  Quite amazing for a "showline" dog.  His Sch scores were pretty good too.  Check them out.

Their owner is over 70 now and doesnt make the shows like he used too, but  his dogs do offer a wider choice of bloodlines than are now available.
