I am looking for people who have expierience in schutzhund in the Evansville area. I am a rookie so I need people who know what they are doing. I have my first workingline GSD and dont want to waste his potential.

Thanks

Marty

I'm in Evansville, and I wish there was such a group!  I'm a rookie to Schutzhund myself!  I travel 3 hours to Lexington, KY at least every other weekend if not more to a club.  Be careful who you train with.....I've checked out A LOT of surrounding clubs and this is the best one yet!  Although it's mostly showlines that train there, but I plan to be working my workingline male pup there as well whenever he's born and ready!  My fiance and I plan to start a club in 1-2 years once he's a certified and experienced helper...he's in training now.  Be sure that you train with experienced helpers and people, hate to have your dog ruined!  Perhaps we can get together and work on Tracking and Obedience.

Sabine,

Do you go to these sessions?

I have spoken to O' Nan's a couple of times about dogs but training sessions was never mentioned to me, is this something new?
