Has anyone used the Mason Ultrabase kennel system in a basement or garage?
I am considering something such as this for my basement and wanted to get some ideas of how they stand up to GSD's and what the echo effect is with the fiberglass.

I haven't used that particular system but I have Mason kennel panels and consider Mason fencing the best available. It just can't be beat.

I have Mason kennels, although not in a basement. In my building they are in a room that is fiberglass sides to the kennels on three sides and fiberglass on the walls up to 8 feet. The flooring is sealed concrete. The ceiling is about 12 feet high because of clearance needed for radiant heaters. Any smooth, relatively impervious material will echo and if you put these in any room, I can tell you that you will have noise amplification. You may only have a few kennels and a few dogs, so it might not matter. If noise is an issue, there are other ways to dampen it, and of course, the most important thing is how the dogs are managed to start with. I rarely have barking, but it does bounce off the walls a bit. The worst surface would be a concrete block wall.....
If you are getting the type they sell with the drainage system through PVC pipes, you better be prepared to pick up feces and NOT wash them down the drainage system. If you do not, I can almost guarantee you will have backups in the plumbing and you can only imagine how that would be in a kennel situation - especially a basement.

Thanks ladies,
We did have Mason Kennels at a commercial boarding kennel I worked for and I remember really liking the quality. Hodie, yes I plan to pick up any solids which I would not expect anyway because they would be indoor 4 x 6 kennels but I do have one dog who refuses to crate/house train so she will undoubtedly urinate in the kennel. The others are already in 4 x 4 & 4 x 6 kennels on the rough concrete but I want something with them off the ground. Otherwise they are in the house with me or outside playing. I do only have 7 dogs and 3 live in the house anyway so I would only want 4 of them anyway.
