i played around with youtube and was finally able to get some video's to upload..(ive tried before but never could get it to work)...they are only a few seconds long and the quality is bad ( i was using my camera phone)...

its just me playing around with boss, nothing serious..but have a look if you have time..

i will use my digital next time, better picture quality...

He likes his tug.    Boss has grown up.

yep, he LOVES that tug..one of the best toys he's ever had.....he loves going after it like that, teaching him to down from far away was easy with the tug...

soon i will make some better, little longer video's. when i can get someone else to hold the camera for me...

Yes, we'd like to see how your heeling is progressing.  You "may" be able to use his tug to teach him the send away as well.  ie:  you teach him to go away from you to the tug

Thanks,

The finished exercise in schutzhund is that the dog moves away from you in a straight line while heeling at least 30 paces and then downs (on the judge's signal).  You then walk to the dog and "pick" the dog up in heel position.  The exercise is taught in steps.  Alot of folks use a toy to send the dog to at increasing distances.
