Hi

I know that its not a question that needs an explanation however, I still would like to ask. Usually what is the standard time for the newly born pups to open their eyes. I have seen the puppies opening their eyes on day 8th as the earliest and 20th as the latest. Is there a rule or again it depends on some factors that someone should take into consideration.

Thanks in advance

they should be completely open by 2 weeks (14 days) - they start to "crack" usually at around 10 days.

I've seen it as early as 10 days and as late as 2wks.

It varies from breeding to breedings for specifics, but generally, 2wks is the norm for GSDs.
