BSP== Germany's National GSD Championship, open only to German residents. The members of the German team for the WUSV Championship are selected from the event.
WUSV= World Union of German Shepherd Clubs, and the annual championship is in a different country each year --IN THE USA THIS YEAR!!. The teams from each country competes. USA's team is made up ofmembers from USA and from WDA (of course with alternates, which rotates between the two clubs).
FCI= the international umbrella organization for various breeds. Its championship is the FCI Championship, and, again, countries send teams to compete. The US team is made up of members of clubs that are in turn members of AWDF (American Working Dog Federation: USA. USRC, UDC, AWMA, USBA, NAWBA, and I cannot remember the initials for the American bullgod, Am Staff, Giant Schnauzer, and Howavarts). The qualifiers in the US are the USA National, the USA North American, and the nationals of the various breed clubs for each breed-team.
