i was wondering...how useful are these kind of pictures?....is there anything that can be seen about a dogs range of motion/  etc....good or bad, in motion pics or akward shots?

i gathered some pics of boss in motion and was wondering if yall could tell me anything about his movement in these pics.....a couple are just akward shots (one REALLY akward- you'll know it when you see it)......

is he still to young to tell anything really about his movement?...

i don't know much at all about correct movement in a gsd....i'm hoping some of you could enlighten me...

there were to many pics to post them all on here so i made a slide show on photobucket...i hope this works....

just a reminder...he is 10 months old (almost 11 mnths)..i don't know if that matters tho.....

I'm not a motion expert but I think it would be hard to evaluate without the dog fully gaiting.  It seems they're just pics of him romping around with or after a toy.  With his head down and not in full trot or at least pacing at the end of a leash it's hard for me to see anything to critique...but like I said I'm no expert here.  He's gorgeous though!

You could try having someone hold him on leash, stand far in front and have him trot to you while the other person controls his speed with a leash...give a little attraction but not too much that he's pulling hard and bucking/hopping to get to you.  Obviously you'll need a third person to take pics.  This is what we did here with my friends' dog Felice vom Amulree:
