Drivers willing to pick the pup up and deliver, Permanent placement located. Temporary housing has been impossible to locate once it was learned who is in possession of the pup. I very much understand, if a pup is sick, it could infect other dogs or another kennel and that would not be fair, (one of those, you try to do a good thing and it bites you in the behind, I do not wish this on anyone). It will not help the pup to pick it up and fly it sickly. So depending on your thought process, this information could be good that it came into the light/or sad.
I still would like to express my appreciation to the following
1. Henry (I think from the UK). For finding the ad and posting it
2. The “driver “ who was willing and put in a lot of time trying to assist
3. Hodie who was willing to take the pup into her rescue
4. Vicky who also was willing to take the pup into her home
5. The emails I received in support and some who felt it necessary to educate me on how ignorant/irresponsible I was behaving
6. Oli or Ghost, for not taking down the 2nd post until I could attempt to get this worked out
7. And last but not forgotten Yellowrose, I have seen you over time mix it up with the best of them and I kept waiting for that shoe to drop. You hold a special place in my heart.
For the person who called me a liar, I never lied to that women. I got into a situation a few years back where I imported quite a lot of pups/dogs from all over. When you first start doing this it is amazing what you are sent. However, I have no reason to call out the breeders, because, I sent back every dam one of them or was refunded the funds, on my word of what the situation was. Where I get into trouble, is looking for a dog for me personally, for all kinds of reasons I am not inclined to go into.
I am not a bleeding heart, I cannot nor will I try and save every puppy any BYB has. This one just caught my eye and I saw red. I had the ability and the means so I reached out to the community for assistance in accomplishing this goal.
For me it is “All about the dogs”, check your ego at the door please.

Hmmmm, looks like Hodie was in competiton with me for the puppy! All I did was offer in the original thread to take the puppy and get it in a safe place and offer so that it would not be put to sleep or sent to the pound! I am as angry as anyone at the lady that has the puppy but didn't want to express my anger and put the puppies future in jeopardy!

Please replace the BYB with the word psyco or idiot.

WOW! Where did this dog BEING SICK EVER come from anyway??Because I am a "supossed" puppy mill because I help friends place their dogs?? Anyone who would like to visit my home would be SURPRISED to see,I sure in the hell am NOT a puppymill or even close to one, kinda hard when you only own 4 dogs huh??..But who cares what you people think,I Know what is true and that is all that matters... The dog just went to the vet 2 days ago,I am not the unhonest one here lIKE JEFF ADKINS,My vet would have NOT given a rabies vaccine for one if he was SICK!! OK, Good luck to you all, you won't be hearing from me again.......This whole ordeal can now be forgotten about! Atleast, I KNOW of a few people I detered away from JEFF ADKINS,that was my ONLY intention!
Good bye!

Just to make it crystal clear, I am NOT in competition with you Powerhaus to take a pup. I don't compete to take in dogs from idiots. I was asked by 1Doggie2 several days ago if I would help place the pup from long distance if she got it out of the situation. Doing it long distance is not in the best interests of the dog. I said if I was to help the dog would have to be sent here so that I could evaluate it properly. When I take a dog into my rescue program, i do so knowing full well how rigorous I am in placement and I am fully prepared to keep the dog as long as necessary rather than simply pawn it off on someone. And no, I do not sell these dogs as you allege on the other thread.
I also told her repeatedly that this was not a situation that was anything but a cluster and that the owner of the pup, if she gave a damn about the dog, would not have threatened initially to put the dog down or dump it at a pound. I warned her that this person had no intention of doing the right thing. It is clear from the writing that this person is a wacko, as it appears you are.
Any self respecting person *(and that leaves out this idiot woman) would have tried to deal with the man she got the dog from, and when she could not get satisfaction (and it was her own stupidity in getting the dog anyway), if she were unhappy with the dog for any reason would have seen to it that he was neutered and SHE would have looked for a proper home, rescue etc. But she did not. That tells us a lot about that person.
I have 6 rescue dogs here at the moment, all funded by my own money, and plenty of work to do. So no Vickie, you are making a complete ass of yourself, as you did on your last post on the other thread. People who know me know that you are completely incorrect in every single one of your statements about me on the other thread. However, what I wrote to expose your intentions surely hit a nerve. You came across here, and in every other like situation as someone coming to the fore to help the dog when, in fact, you were trying to help yourself. We could go back and look at all the situations but any here who have been involved will remember. Legitimate rescues don't ask for "gifts" of dogs. Legitimate rescues have licenses and are inspected. And yes, legitimate rescues can document where funding for the organization comes from (in my case, from my own pocket almost exclusively). They also make sure they have the proper facilities to house dogs until an appropriate lifetime home can be found. You wanted this dog and the other dog Tino because you thought YOU could gain. Clearly, you looked at the bloodlines and checked out possible matings. I did not even bother because the dog would be neutered and placed eventually. Shame on you.
My record stands for itself but yours drips with deceit. You pressured to take the male from the other situation. Did it help her? No, by her own admission she already has other dogs. I do hope you will never sell or place the dog you promised her you would keep. We will all be watching.
1doggie2, I am sorry you spent so much of your time on this. Your efforts were genuine. I would assist you anytime again if asked.

1doggie2: I am disappointed that this dog didnt get a chance;;;;;I get so angry at humans for the inane way they behave.......thanks to you and DC for the attempt.....I have nightmares over two of my dogs that kinda got in a same situation, not by my doing, but they chose to not keep in touch with me and took the pup for further monetary reasons.....I usually have good vibs about the people but once in a moon pie,,I sell to a no good invert and this same kind of actions take place....
I just cant stop being Ganny for all my kids....so we will all try to help another in a short time , Im sure
The board here recoginzes you 1DOGGIE2 AS THE GERMAN SHEPHERD MASTER OF THE MONTH......WE APPRECIATE YOU AND THE OTHERS WHO GAVE TO THIS EFFORT..

I am truly sorry for the hurt feelings between board members, for me personally, both Hodie and Vickie stepped to the plate. I thank both of them. Vicki, I did advise Hodie that I would be sending the pup to you, i was advised by a member of this board that you would take very good care of the pup. I do not know either of you gals, so I am not going into the muck with either of you. But I will say, THANK YOU FOR YOUR WILLINGNESS TO OPEN YOUR HOMES TO POSSIBILITES, I would not hesitate to contact either of you if I found myself in need again.

Sorry, did not see this thread before posting on the other one.
I wanted to offer help, but things looked like such a mess I didn't want to make it worse....

Triodegirl,
I was to have an investment in this puppy, and my financial investment was for vetting and neutering and heartworm prevention, and to house clean up after and feed till probably the end of his days! That is just as much a contribution as 1doggie2 shipping him here to me! But, all I can say now is ..........GOD SPEED GATOR.......sigh.........I am sorry for the fate that lies before this little fellow! Tristatek9 should step up to the plate and go get his sick puppy and take proper care of it, even if that means driving to WrkNdogs house to do it! This puppy was at the vet with a temp of over 102 a couple of days ago! The person picking up the puppy has a 1 week old litter and wants nothing to do with Gator who might be sick or getting sick. Can't really blame him either. I have a 4.5 week old litter but was willing to give it a try and I also have the facility to be able to keep Gator separated from my litter. I had NOTHING to gain in all this but the feeling at the end of the day that I did something good for a puppy that had been threatened with being sent to the Pound or being Euthanized! Gotta go and hug all my guys!
Vickie
