My GSD wore booties while working at the World Trade Center.We wore out 2 sets a day, but she loved them once we got the right size and type for her feet(Dickens tuffy fleece boots-medium ) made by Petco I think.We tried 5-6 different kinds,she hated most of them.I used blue medical tape(the stretchy kind that sticks only to itself ) to fasten the top to her leg.She prefered working in booties to not.No noticeable difference in traction or agility.

my dogs go through tactical operations in kevlar booties to repell sharp objects and heat and cool are substantially surpressed by them as well
