I sold this wonderful girl to a family with a baby and a 7 year old daughter...They had bought a dog 8 mos old from another breeder in Dallas and took it back...Puppy would hide in corners and in the crate and wouldnt come out..When they called me , I told them I had a V sasko v d Wisenau daughter , one year old and she was an awesome girl with super ,super temperament and loves to please and is obedience trained and focused and high ball drive...This is on the way to her new home with 5 people she had never seen ,,,and she has chosen her new buddy.....they are all in seventh Heaven and this picture is worth every dime they paid for their new german shepherd....she is going to be training , hopefully with a member of this database in a week of so......JUST HAD TO SHARE THIS>>>>>>HOW IT SHOULD BE><<<<<

Both sound asleep, but I'm not sure who is more content there - the baby or the pup.
What a great picture!

Well Yellowrose, this is what real GSD temperament is. Aren't GSDs the greatest dogs in the world when they have the kind of temperament Capt. Von Stephanitz demanded? Docile, peaceful and loving around their masters and their farmyard animals and pets, and yet hard as nails when responding to a real time threat. Our GSDs always loved to watch over and protect our kids. Congratulations on selling a dog with mental soundness and ability to serve with devotion. You have done your job well as a breeder !

Thanks to all for the kudoos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ButMy job is not done ,yet ..I have to help them find someone to start her training as she is a bundle of happy focused high ball drive...She platz, heia, blib but needs to be polished...she comes Johnny on the spot....and is crate and kennel trained..and she loves life...she misses nothing and she checks everthing inside and out....she will bond to anyone that wants to play ball or feed her or love her....she is the greatest joy of temperament....so I have pm two people in Dallas to get in touch with this family and get them lined up to continue her obedience and help them train her to her fullist.....The Daddy bought the Book I sell to people who buy my dogs,,,the Theory and Method of Schutzhund Training by Barwig and Hilliard....so he is going to start reading...he is amazed at what I do with a dog...I told him ,,its not me its the four legs and the bloodlines I have chosen to put in order to produce....what I consider a quality gsd...Now, not all my dogs can sleep on a baby;s lap.....some are two work oriented.and are a little bit too rough....This girl kissed this baby the first minute they walked in my place.and she knew to do it easy....Do you think she kisses me that easy and approached me that easy to play......NO she does not.....her instinct told her ,,,this is a delicate baby and she reminded me so much of my Zu out of Cadette v Busecker Schloss..she could work for three hours and split trainers arms and fingers wide open.,,,go rest and go lay with her head in a baby;s carrier or baby stroller or a blanket on the ground.....Maybe God sent this girl in Zu;s image......I will miss her but her new family will be blessed....

Well, there it is! As Preston said, the temperment our GSDs are supposed to have! Congratulations, Yellowrose; something for breeders to aspire to. I hope my pups will be as well balanced and stable! jackie harris
