Shepherd Woman

WOOHOOOOO  with a lot of hard work on both our parts, Chaos passed his TDI testing this morning.......  He did great.  Showed no aggression what so ever toward the other dogs there and the evaluator said he was the first one to pass all morning.  They started at 9 am and we tested at 11:20.  We even did 2 meet and greets just to make sure he was out of his stage that he was in at a year old.  Can't wait now to get his paperwork in so that we can go on to bigger and better things with him and his visitations.  Thanks to those of us that encouraged us to try again!

A big congrads to you both. My now retired 9 1/2 yr old girl is certified by TDI. It has been one of the most rewarding things that I have done and it was shared with my very special dog. Enjoy!!! You'll be amazed at how people will respond....

That's awesome flygirl55.  I have been taking Chaos to hospitals and nursing homes since he was 3 months old, so he is actually really use to going in and working with the elderly.  He loves every minute of it.  He's 21 months old right now.  I can't wait to get all of the stuff for him in to get him going on it..  Thanks again : - }

That is so great.  Congrats.  At 7 months I CGC my boy then did my TDI certification.  After I did 12 weeks of training with a Service dog nonprofit.  And since then I do a READ program every Friday with the 1st graders at a school and on Saturdays I go to an Assisted Living.  All very rewarding.  I am so proud of my guy.  Let me know if I can be of any help.

 That's great news!, so will you be going for your BH,AD,and SCH next?

Thanks and I sure will Renz.......  gsdlvr2, I doubt we will get into any of that.  Right now I am content with showing him in conformation, doing obedience and visiting the nursing homes and hospitals with him.  I'm spreading my self pretty thin right now doing all of that as it is.  Need to be home some of the time : - )  There aren't any places near us that do that stuff any way, and I'm not really into traveling around for it.  Gas prices suck right now......  Thanks again though and I am looking forward to taking him to more places that wouldn't allow him before because he was not certified.

SW that is so great.  Congratulations.  Give Chaos a big ole hug and tell him how proud we all are of him.  Of course, we knew he could do it.
