A friend and his dog were invited to try out for the team. I forgot to ask where the try out were being held. Does anyone know how long it takes to come up with a team and alternates?
Thanks

The Trials over here in Belgium for the selection of the Belgian team start today it will be a great days viewing and hopefully i can pick up a few pointers,
Within 30 minutes i will be in the car and off to see it ,about 1hr.15 minute drive from my place

Oh okay, USA selects from trials, not invite/tryout. Let us know the results and who has video.

Kyle, what sport would I be talking about? Baseball? Did you read the title of my post and still not enough info?
My buddy was invited due to trial results and plane fare was covered for himself and his dog. Just wondered when we would find out the results. But then again I have restated my original post. Post? What post?

Doggman,
You must be talking about the tryout for helpers? Some people were invited for that, I do believe those tryouts will be in a couple of weeks, not sure when the results will be. To make the WUSV Dog/Handler is not a invitational affair! You must earn your spot by competing in a different number of events between the two german shepherd organization.
Your post is unclear and I can see how someone could misunderstand the question.

Dogman, Your post is clear as mud. "A friend and his dog were invited to try out for the team." I asked what sport? I figured it was dog sport, jackass, but which one. Since there is no tryout for USA WUSV team (handler/Dog), as explained by Realman. Once again what sport, maybe ring, could be knpv, perhaps mondio. SINCE SCHUTZHUND WORLD TEAM SELECTION IS NOT DONE BY TRYOUT! So the next time you want to be a smartass, I would suggest you know what you are talking about and provide more detail.

Kyle and Realman are right. Kyle is right 100% of the time in his posts. Excuse me, Kyle, Are you the Kyle I saw win all the trophies at a trial in Long Island this past summer?

by KYLE on 26 February 2008 - 03:02
Hi Pat, Yes, I am that Kyle. I hate to be talked down to, as if my question was inappropriate or stupid.
How are things?

Steve: How do people qualify for the WUSV world team in Belgium?
