I'm familar with Kway. I was wondering who were some of the other progeny off Asko in the states these days? Who's scoring high marks, or producing quality offspring...?

Shelley Strohl

I have a young WUSV Qiuncy Waldwinkel son (Asko grandson) I like very much. NOt titled yet, but lots of talent and lots of drive. A little slow to mature, but we're past that at last. Look for Bijou in trials later this year.

That's great Shelley. Wish you all the best with him. As far as maturing slowly i understand. A lot of that blood is like that. Asko himself was a slower maturing dog, but no one will argue that he turned out great.

Muke: a very acomplished son of Asko. Is he in the states?

Mucke, a.k.a. Mike lives in California.  if you go to www.jimlempner.com there is some additional information about him.

Another Asko son that was talked about here in the states was Eik Nordenstamm.  He's owned by Terry Macias but I don't have a link to his site.

Rick:

A good lead you may want to look at the the 2005 USA Nationals results, you can view at USA National event Archive page. Thier were 4 Asko sons in the the top 10 at that event.

Terry Macias' dog Eick v Nordstramm (hope I spelled his name correctly) is an Asko son - this dog is SUPER in all ways.   He's very strong, very sure, high drive, nice size and structure, sound, and good with the kids too :) - I think he's retired from working, but probably not from breeding - I would use him for my girls if he wasn't so far away :)

great info. guys. I was mostly curious as to whether any of his offspring over here were old enough to have offspring of their own that were already competing. Guess I was looking for which one seems to be producing well. I know that Kway is said to  be producing very well. Are their others out there with competing progeny?

Does Kway have competing progeny?  It takes a while for stud dogs to gain that "record".  I know Terry is not a breeder, and he doesn't advertise Eick for stud, probably doesn't breed him often.  I'm certain he has some offspring out there, he would be my choice for an Asko son in this country to go to.
