Just curious How would one know if his male has been mated to a female?
Assuming you give your dog out for few days for whatever reasons to someone.
thanks for all help

You get the CSI team in there to check for the presence of semen on the bedsheets...
No, seriously, I don't think there is any way of knowing if a male has been used for breeding, unless he's the type who 'kisses and tells'....
With a female, of course, you just wait until she does/doesn't start to show signs of pregnancy.
If your 'friend' announces he has a litter 63 days from now, I'd be darn suspicious, and maybe see if I could find a way to DNA the pups without him knowing! Wouldn't be the first time the sire listed on the papers wasn't the same one the bitch was mated to!
