Does anyone know of a good stud dog near Baltimore MD. Working lines, good nerves, solid black or bi-color (dark gray, maybe), healthy, & proven. Doesn't even have to be titled in SchH, but must be healthy and have all nessesary body parts w/ strong nerves and good temperament. All suggestions appreciated.

I know of a very nice sable male, Falco von der Daelenberghutte, he is working as a security dog at BWI. He is out of Gringo von der Mohnwiese x Optikas Dusty. Both parents have produced many dogs competing in SchH at the highest levels. His pedigree is on the database.
I brought him over as a pup but had to sell him for personal reasons. He is just over a year and a half. He was bred once and produced 3 sable males, 3 sable females, and 1 black male. All of the pups had lots of drive. I actually have one of the females pups here with me and the black male is with a trainer in Pasadena. If you were interested in him I could put you in contact with his trainer at Northrup/Grumman, the security company for the airport. You could email me and I could send you some more pics than the one on the database. My email is barkpark@msn.com Bruce Morrison. I live here in Baltimore.

You might want to contact Dennis Johnson at Johnsonhaus GSDs and see what he can suggest. I've been impressed with his knowledge level in his Sch trained GSDs.

Thanks Preston, where do I send the $20.00 check??
I think we are all in the same situation, we just don't work together like we should!!! Finding quality stud dogs within driving distance that are'nt just hype by the owners, tough thing to find...

"Healthy, & Proven"
- Proven to do what, is the real question I have for him???
- Proven to produce puppies? Proven to produce some pet puppies? Proven to produce hip/elbow cert progeny? Proven to produce titled, hip/elbow certified progeny? etc etc etc...
- Healthy should be a gimme!!
- I have a few honest reliable breeders that I work with around the US. We talk genetics, we talk production history, production possibilities, breeding partners, pairing trends etc etc etc...
With the cost of buying and shipping across the pond we really do need to be looking inward to some of the breeding programs here in the U.S.... There are plenty of proven stud dogs out there, you need to start looking long before your bitch comes in heat though... And the serious stud dog owners are not going to breed to untitled females with no hip/elbow certs.. As a stud dog owner, you better have all your ducks in a row before contacting me looking for stud service "as many have found out when they contact me"..
