Ok so at this point I am not going to say names, but there is a working line breeder in Ontario. I purchased 2 dogs from her. One is currently 7 months old is supposed to be on a co-ownership (still no papers) no signed contract, was not given a tatoo or microchip, and no vaccines when I got her. Then there is the other one that I RESCUED at 8 months old (is now just over 1 year). Paid $1000.00 for her, that dog that didn't even know it's name, was tatooed but once again no vaccines. The second dog has SERIOUS dog and people agression so we told this breeder that didn't send us papers for either dog that we were rehoming her. Now that she is sold the breeder want's the dog back. In my opinion this breeder should not own any dogs, because of the condition of the residence and the dogs them selves. In my opinion there are clear signs of abuse.
Now I am being refused any papers from her, I have no signed contract only emails. CKC said they would look into it but it is unlikely I will get papers for either girl. These girls are my first "CKC" dogs. I planned on big things for my younger one as she has a dynamite personality, What would you do?????????????
BY THE WAY, HERE IS MY WEBSITE!!!!!!!!!!

Return the dogs, get your money back & be done with the breeder.

This is yet again a sad story if what you say is true. However, you goofed big time in not getting papers, contract etc. Without some contract, all you have is the emails you refer to. You will have to contact the CKC to see how they ask for you to present complaints and follow their procedures. Other than that, if you really allege abuse, you should contact your local authorities who will look into the situation. However, what you refer to as abuse may not be how authorities define it. Why would you buy a dog and then rescue a dog but pay $1000 when you say the breeder supposedly abuses the dogs? Not a lot of common sense here......

I did not see any abuse happen, just an instinct when the dogs cower when she walks by their cages and she brings a whip out and they pee in fear. I did pay the $1000.00 to get the dog out of the situation. I suppose this is a live and learn situation. I have complied with all of CKC's request for information, now I am going to sit back and wait and if it doesn't rule in my favor I will contact the RCMP.

I guess a second question would be why you bothered to accept or buy pups from this person if this was your instinct? Normally when people come here with this type of question, it was actually going to be some sort of deal *(in your case a co-ownership) that has suddenly gone bad. We cannot help you. The CKC might be able to, and if there is real evidence rather than your gut feeling, perhaps the authorities. I do know in my country it is often a crime to allege something like abuse when it is not true. I don't think "instinct" stands up to scrutiny, even if you might like it to.
Good luck.

Yes she is tatooed, if you had her microchipped you might want to get your money back as my vet did a scan and nothing came up. Also as for vaccines I have emails to prove I was told NO vaccines had been done. I also have vet proof that I paid to have them done at 8 months of age. I am not the unbelievable person in this situation, we both know who that is regardless I guess I will see her in court.
