This may be a wild guess but has anyone done any writeups or study on these lines?
I would really like to get some documentation on these lines whether some manual, book or electronic form.

I'd be equally interested in any writeups available. What specifically do you want to know? I think it would be greatly beneficial to have a compiled informational resource on these lines, because of their significant impact on the workinglines.
